Hydroelectric Power Plant
E_11-02When water is accumulated in dams, potential energy is added to the water. The potential energy of the water turns into kinetic energy when the water is released from a height. The fast flowing water turns turbines and the movement of the turbines drives a generator to generate electricity. Visitors pump water into a pool at the top of a high tower. They then open a valve and release the water to flow through a turbine to power a street lamp.

Lightning Machine
E_20-02The High Voltage Climbing Arc is a familiar piece of equipment for all science fiction fans and the standard laboratory device for all mad scientists. A small spark starts at the bottom of a pair of “V” shaped electrodes, moves upwards and grows as the gap between the electrodes widens. At the top of the electrodes the spark exits and the cycle repeats.

Propellers
H_07-02When the user stands at the table, he/she will press the start button on the control panel to start blowing air and adjust the blowing speed with the rotary knob. By turning the air blowing pipe at certain angles, it will create a wind effect on the turbines. They will discuss which turbine will have more revolutions and speed in an identical wind based on the values on the meters. Will be able to interpret the advantages of turbines according to their propeller shapes.

Recycling and Segregation
IC_08-02The device positioned on the panel works with the help of gravity. There are stamps with paper, plastic, metal, glass images on them. The user circulates these stamps through the rails and throws them into the relevant recycling area. All stamps accumulate in these areas. With the help of the arm on the side, the stamps accumulated in this area fall down and the game is played again.

Water and Carbon Footprint
E_16-02Visitors answer a question-and-answer exercise through interactive screens that teach us what we need to do to reduce our carbon and water footprint. They are expected to select options to answer the questions on the screen. As visitors answer the questions, the led bar on the screen reacts according to the result of the computer calculations to determine their water and carbon footprints.

World Climate Map
IC_04-02It is a device where visitors can recognize the different climate types seen in the world. There is a puzzle piece for 5 climate types based on Köppen climate classification. These climate classes are A (Tropical Climates), B (Arid Climates), C (Warm Temperate Climates), D (Cold Snow Climates), E (Polar Climates). On the floor where the pieces will be placed, there is a world map print on the led light panel. Videos will play on the screen when the piece is attached to the area for each of the 5 different climate classes.
