    Compost Area

    DM_10-02

On the desktop there are wooden profiles describing the compost types. The user decides which compost type he/she would like to get to know with the guidance questions on the mini screen. The mini screen shows a gif representation of the selection by lifting the profile upwards. When the profile is lifted up to select a compost type, an icon and a short text about that compost type appears on the large screen next to it, and then the user is asked to make a selection with the buttons to build their own compost. Visual support is provided as a hint to the user for their selection on the large screen. After the user builds his/her compost, he/she learns about the processes by seeing the sections of the compost such as day 1, day 7, day 14 on the big screen.

    Distribution of Seasons

    IC_15-02

Seasons are formed because the Earth’s tilt towards the Sun changes along its orbit. The Earth’s axis is tilted by about 23 degrees and this tilt plays a critical role in the formation of the seasons. Using a turntable, you can observe which seasons occur in the northern and southern hemispheres in different months and explore the reasons for these changes.

    Earth Sun Moon Model

    DM_05-02

The visitor enters and sits inside the closed spherical volume. This sphere represents the sun. When the mechanism inside the sun is turned, the earth, which is connected to this system, and the moon, which is connected to the earth, will start to rotate.

  • AF_04-02

    Earth’s Radiation Balance

    AF_04-02

An animation, initiated and modified by buttons, is projected on the screen on the assembly table. The heating of the earth is indicated by the orange light on the world map and the cooling of the earth is indicated by the emission of white light. Earth’s surface temperature is monitored on the LED screen.

  • E_04-02

    Earthquake Energy

    E_04-02

It is necessary to make a simple construction by combining various interlocking geometric parts. After the construction is placed on the movable plate on the table, the “earthquake intensity” is adjusted with the help of the control panel. The acceleration magnitude of the mechanism activated by turning the knob can be seen on the digital display.

    Electricity Consumption

    E_06-02

By turning the hand pedals, visitors, one or three at a time, can observe the operation of the instruments to which this energy is transferred by feeding the generator that converts the energy of movement into electrical energy by turning the pedals in the unit assembly. While turning the hand pedals, they observe how much they turn with the gradual led under the base. The light bulb, propeller and radio will continue to work as long as the visitors generate electricity.

  • E_03-02

    Electricity from Landfill Gas

    E_03-02

On the screen in the unit, a video on how energy is obtained from waste is broadcast in loop mode. On the other screen in the unit, there is question-answer content that we need to solve after the video narration

  • DM_06-02

    Fanus Photo Space

    DM_06-02

Visitors leave with a souvenir of their experience in the science park by taking fun poses while looking at their surroundings with water flowing over them under the protection of the glass lantern.

  • U_02

    Farklı Gezegenler Farkılı Ağırlıklar

    U_02

  • AF_07-02

    Fault Lines

    AF_07-02

Visitors apply paper tape along fault lines at three stations representing different types of tectonic plate movement. At each station, they rotate a crank that forces the plates to move relative to each other, modeling plunging, spreading or shear forces in typical plate motions. The tape resists movements until the pressure is too high and, depending on the station, splits, tears/creases or breaks.

  • AF_06-02

    Fault Map

    AF_06-02

There is a puzzle on the tablet on the unit base. This puzzle contains the World Tectonic Map. The visitor tries to place these tectonic pieces correctly. When placed correctly, the visitor learns how the earthquake belts intersect on the tectonic map and their properties on the screen on the desktop.

  • DM_20-02

    Floating Stone

    DM_20-02

It is a device that keeps the stone in the air with water pressure. Visitors realize the power of water pressure with the floating stone device.

  • AF_17-02

    Flood and Flood Simulator

    AF_17-02

Visitors can make it rain from the clouds in the models by pressing the button on the table. The model on the left shows houses built on a concrete floor and a stream bed.
