Hidroelektrik Santral
E_11Barajlarda su biriktirildiğinde suya potansiyel enerji kazandırılır. Potansiyel enerji kazandırılan suyun yüksekten bırakılması ile suyun potansiyel enerjisi kinetik enerjiye dönüşür. Hızla akan su türbinleri döndürür ve türbinlerin hareketi jeneratörü harekete geçirerek elektrik enerjisi üretilmesini sağlar. Ziyaretçiler suyu yüksek bir kulenin tepesindeki bir havuza pompalarlar. Daha sonra bir vana açarlar ve suyu bir sokak lambasına güç vermek için bir türbinden akmak üzere serbest bırakırlar.

E_11-02When water is accumulated in dams, potential energy is added to the water. The potential energy of the water turns into kinetic energy when the water is released from a height. The fast flowing water turns turbines and the movement of the turbines drives a generator to generate electricity. Visitors pump water into a pool at the top of a high tower. They then open a valve and release the water to flow through a turbine to power a street lamp.

U_06Ziyaretçiler bu istasyona geldiklerinde haznede bulunan çeşitli renklerdeki topları alıp, platform üzerinde bir noktadan delik etrafında dairesel hareket yapacak şekilde bırakacaktır. Düzeneğin eğrisel yapısından dolayı toplar deliklerin etrafında dairesel hareketler gerçekleştirecek ve her devirde deliğe daha fazla yaklaşacaktır. Toplar deliğe yaklaştıkça daha çok hızlanacak ve yerçekimi etkisiyle içeri doğru düşecektir.
